Senior District Business Manager, Cardiovascular

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of around 6–10 Therapeutic Area Specialists (TASs) to enhance the adoption of the designated Cardiovascular portfolio and stimulate demand.

• Guide TASs in developing their selling abilities, scientific engagement, digital proficiency, customer and commercial mindset, adaptability to change, and collaborative team approach.

• Participate in select ride-alongs with TASs for significant healthcare professionals (HCPs) per the coaching strategy.

• Oversee the learning journey of TASs, ensuring ongoing enhancement of essential skills and behaviors.

• Advocate for the utilization of CE^3 analytics, content personalization, Medical on Call, along with other digital tools and capabilities.

• Coach TASs to effectively use CE^3 insights for planning and preparing calls.

• Gather the field team to share experiences, collect insights, provide coaching on leadership in change, and promote innovative working methods.

• Identify priority accounts and devise strategies for key accounts based on pertinent insights.

• Ensure ongoing improvement in customer experience.

• Lead financial and program planning initiatives for the district.

• Adhere to all laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

• Collaborate effectively across Commercial, Medical, and Access organizations to fulfill customer needs and achieve sales objectives.

• Dedicate approximately 100% of time in the field with TASs, depending on the geographical area.

• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related fields.

• Previous experience as a District Business Manager in Pharmaceutical Sales, or equivalent experience in leading and managing high-performing teams is highly preferred.

• Pharmaceutical experience, including knowledge of reimbursement processes, access, and distribution environments, is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated success in motivating and leading teams to achieve or surpass expectations and objectives.

• Proven track record in selecting, developing, and retaining talented individuals.

• Prior experience utilizing analytical and selling skills, building strong business acumen, and possessing a working knowledge of the pharmaceutical value chain.

• Minimum age of 21 years.

• Valid driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of residence.

• Driving risk level considered acceptable by the Company.

• Expertise in the Cardiovascular therapeutic area.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for conveying scientific and clinical information.

• Capability to utilize data insights to guide engagement and strategic planning.

• Proficiency with digital tools.

• Ability to lead in a matrix environment.

• Strong business acumen to understand and analyze market and business drivers, and to formulate, execute, and modify business plans.
