Senior Director, Strategic Finance – Enterprise Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee critical aspects of the annual operating plan cycle, collaborating with Finance, Strategy, and business leaders to convert company priorities into financial plans, targets, and investment choices.

• Work alongside business leaders to assess strategic investment opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, and ensure the allocation of capital and operating resources towards the company's most important initiatives.

• Create financial models, business cases, and decision-making frameworks to aid in investment prioritization, ROI evaluation, and long-term value generation.

• Produce comprehensive reports and insights on plan performance, investment advancements, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership.

• Assist in executive discussions by distilling complex financial and operational data into succinct recommendations.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance planning accuracy, resource distribution, and investment discipline throughout the organization.

• Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.

• Report directly to the VP, FP&A.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in finance, FP&A, corporate strategy, investment banking, consulting, or a related field in strategic finance.

• Proven experience in leading or supporting annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, or capital allocation processes.

• Exceptional financial modeling, analytical capabilities, and business case development proficiency.

• Adept at influencing senior stakeholders and fostering alignment across cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication skills, with the talent to transform analysis into clear recommendations at the executive level.

• Robust project management abilities and comfort working in complex, fast-paced environments.

• High level of ownership and capacity to balance strategic thought with operational execution.

• Experience in similar positions within strategy consulting, financial services, or the insurance sector.

• A strong preference for candidates with healthcare industry experience and extensive market knowledge.

• Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as an MBA or CFA are considered advantageous.
