Senior Director, Strategic Finance – Enterprise Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee essential elements of the annual operating plan cycle, collaborating with Finance, Strategy, and business leaders to convert company priorities into financial plans, targets, and investment decisions.

• Collaborate with business leaders to assess strategic investment opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, and guarantee that capital and operational resources are directed towards the company’s top-priority initiatives.

• Construct financial models, business cases, and decision frameworks to aid in investment prioritization, ROI evaluation, and long-term value creation.

• Create transparent reporting and insights concerning plan performance, investment progress, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership.

• Facilitate executive discussions by consolidating intricate financial and operational inputs into succinct recommendations.

• Identify avenues for enhancing planning accuracy, resource allocation, and investment discipline throughout the organization.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Report directly to the VP of FP&A.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in finance, FP&A, corporate strategy, investment banking, consulting, or a similar strategic finance role.

• Proven experience leading or assisting with annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, or capital allocation processes.

• Proficient in financial modeling, analytical skills, and the development of business cases.

• Capability to influence senior stakeholders and foster alignment across cross-functional teams.

• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to transform analysis into clear, executive-level recommendations.

• Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments.

• High level of ownership and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.

• Experience in comparable roles within strategy consulting, financial services, or the insurance sectors.

• Strong preference for experience in the healthcare industry and in-depth market knowledge.

• Advanced degrees or professional certifications, such as an MBA or CFA, are advantageous.
