• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the growth of software engineers and architects.

• Oversee the design, development, validation, debugging, and optimization of software across firmware, drivers, operating systems, applications, and platforms.

• Establish objectives, measurable goals, and accountability for team performance.

• Manage resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure execution excellence.

• Collaborate with hardware engineering, product management, validation, architecture, and product teams.

• Define the technical direction and engineering strategy.

• Oversee performance, hiring, coaching, and career development.

• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Engage with customers, provide support, and incorporate feedback into product enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.

• Over 20 years of experience in software development.

• More than 5 years of people-management experience leading software engineering teams directly.

• Proven experience delivering complex software products throughout the entire development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, validation, release, and support.

• Strong technical expertise in systems software, firmware, GPU/graphics software, AI/ML software, or cloud/distributed systems.

• Preferred strong proficiency in C/C++.

• Experience with device drivers (KMD/UMD) is preferred.

• Familiarity with DirectX, Vulkan, or OpenGL is preferred.

• Experience with GPU architecture, compiler technology, runtime software, or graphics stacks is preferred.

• Background in hardware bring-up, emulation, validation, and silicon enablement is preferred.

• Must reside and work in the country specified in the job posting, where Intel has a legal presence.

• Must agree to and successfully complete an extended Background Investigation.
