Senior Director, Software Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead, manage, and expand multiple teams of software engineers focused on product development.

• Establish long-term technical strategies and architectural standards for enterprise platforms.

• Collaborate with senior engineering and business leaders to ensure product roadmaps align with scalable technology capabilities.

• Drive strategies for talent management, succession planning, skill development, and equitable opportunities.

• Mentor engineers to support their professional growth and technical advancement.

• Partner with product managers to create market-oriented application features and enhance customer experiences.

• Continuously enhance software engineering practices.

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support full-stack technical solutions across Agile teams.

• Oversee the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions.

• Stay updated with technology trends, explore new technologies, and engage in technology communities.

• Foster innovation, adoption of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.

• Enhance engineering productivity across teams.

• Lead the deployment of applications within AWS environments.

• Architect and scale agentic banking systems, distributed multi-agent systems, real-time decision-making engines, and voice/text orchestration platforms while upholding compliance, privacy, and resilience standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in people management.

• At least 9 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns.

• At least 9 years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in data architecture.

• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

• Preferred: 12+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.

• Preferred: 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and design patterns.

• Preferred: 12+ years of experience with web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, and SPA frameworks).

• Preferred: 12+ years of experience in designing and building distributed HPC and ML systems.

• Preferred: 12+ years of experience in cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

• Preferred: 12+ years of experience in data architecture.

• Preferred: 12+ years of professional experience coding in Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.

• Preferred: 10+ years of experience with database and database management systems.

• Preferred: 12+ years of professional experience throughout the full system development lifecycle.

• Preferred: 10+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.

• Preferred: 12+ years of experience with networking protocols and integration with third-party distributed systems.

• Preferred: 7+ years of experience mentoring senior engineers and facilitating their professional growth.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience leading cross-domain architectural reviews or establishing coding and design standards.

• Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools.
