Senior Director, Regulatory Business Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee the process of identifying and acquiring the necessary licenses for both new and existing business operations.

• Support the development and growth of new business initiatives across the organization.

• Determine state-specific requirements and gather information from Centene and external resources to meet filing obligations.

• Interact directly with state officials and perform independent research on regulatory frameworks.

• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and concerns related to new product development.

• Facilitate discussions around licensing prerequisites, organizational structure obligations, financial funding timelines, and mandatory filings.

• Evaluate the feasibility of requirements and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Implement business plans, which include initiating requests to finance, legal, compliance, and other support services.

• Address state-specific inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.

• Advise senior management on critical state-level regulatory trends impacting business operations.

• Organize and monitor application documentation and submissions for business licensing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in regulatory operations, compliance, business operations, project management, or a related field.

• Experience in managed care within a healthcare setting.

• Familiarity with state licensing processes in a healthcare environment.
