β’ Formulate and implement a comprehensive Quality strategy spanning the UCAN network
β’ Oversee Quality governance and decision-making across various locations
β’ Collaborate with senior leaders in business, manufacturing, supply chain, and technical areas
β’ Advocate for inspection readiness and regulatory excellence
β’ Establish and nurture relationships with health authorities
β’ Propel enterprise-wide initiatives focused on quality improvement, remediation, and transformation
β’ Make informed, risk-based decisions that balance patient safety, product quality, compliance, and business goals
β’ Develop, mentor, and cultivate high-performing leadership teams
β’ Enhance succession planning and organizational capability
β’ Deliver executive-level insights, reports, and recommendations regarding quality performance, compliance risks, and strategic priorities
β’ Spearhead Quality strategy and performance for Baxter's operations in the United States and Canada
β’ Manage a team of approximately 400 employees involved in manufacturing, laboratory, compounding, and distribution
β’ More than 15 years of substantial senior Quality leadership experience in the pharmaceutical sector
β’ Proven track record in leading Quality strategy, compliance, governance, and performance across complex multi-site environments
β’ Extensive knowledge of global quality systems, regulatory standards, inspection management, and risk mitigation
β’ Strong capability to influence executive stakeholders and direct impactful business decisions
β’ Demonstrated proficiency in leading large-scale transformation, remediation, and continuous improvement initiatives
β’ Collaborative leadership approach with a commitment to talent development, team inclusivity, and fostering accountability and growth
β’ Solid business acumen with experience in managing substantial budgets, investments, and strategic operating plans
β’ A Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or related field is required
β’ Willingness to travel up to 40% to manufacturing sites, vendors, and Baxter headquarters
β’ Remote candidates are welcome; preference for Northern Illinois-based or relocatable candidates to Illinois
