Senior Director – Program Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Guide both business and IT teams through transformation and optimization projects.

• Assist in the formation of strategies using the Services value stream framework.

• Oversee the Services Outage Execution process alongside the corresponding application portfolio.

• Monitor the performance, maintenance, and enhancement of critical outage workflow applications.

• Assess processes, identify deficiencies, and adapt IT solutions to meet evolving business needs.

• Lead proactive provisioning and lifecycle management of IT equipment, hardware, and PCs for a customer-facing mobile workforce.

• Define and implement connectivity solutions for onsite field teams.

• Establish and enforce deployment protocols to ensure field employees are prepared for site readiness.

• Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and execute technology initiatives aimed at increasing field productivity.

• Drive initiatives to enhance data accessibility and visibility using AI technologies.

• Convert business challenges into technical solutions and oversee their delivery through field implementation.

• Ensure IT initiatives align with outage milestones and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with operations and field service leaders to provide technology that supports effective site execution.

• Lead and manage a team.

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related fields.

• A minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience.

• Demonstrated success in setting targets, executing plans, and achieving results.

• Relevant experience in solving business challenges through technology.

• Capability to plan and provide structure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Skill in managing risk and uncertainty for oneself and the team.

• Strong business analysis and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to break down problems and make decisions even when the issues or solutions are not fully defined.

• Proficiency in evaluating products and processes for compliance.

• Capacity to assess the impact of trends and take necessary actions.

• Ability to engage with all levels of the organization, including other GE businesses and partners.

• Proven experience in leading and influencing within a complex, global matrix organization.

• Ability to proactively spot and eliminate project obstacles or barriers.

• Critical thinking skills and a disciplined approach to resolving issues and defining solutions.

• Ability to engage cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and design solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to interact with senior leadership confidently and clearly.
