Senior Director, Product Management

📋 Description

• Recruit, nurture, and retain the product team.

• Potentially act as the product representative for customers, partners, media, analysts, and events.

• Observe customers, products, teams, and OKR-based workflows during the initial week.

• Evaluate expectations and identify avenues to create a world-class team and business.

• Familiarize with team capabilities, product trajectory, and metrics during the first month.

• Identify modifications to optimize engineering investment returns.

• Set team OKRs within the first three months.

• Recruit top-tier talent and collaboratively enhance the hiring process.

• Adjust goals and roadmaps to boost engineering investment returns.

• Make a system-wide product impact that influences millions of developers within the first year.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in product management across various product stages.

• Proven experience in scaling products and introducing new products or SKUs.

• Knowledge of product management in developer tooling, SaaS, cloud services, and/or open-source freemium models is advantageous.

• Experience in engaging and supporting large developer communities is a plus.

• Previous experience as a coding engineer or proven success in serving coding-engineering users.

• Familiarity with CLI tools and SDLC methodologies.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment across approximately eight time zones.

• Strong written communication skills or alternative methods for reinforcing information dissemination.

• Growth mindset and ability to rapidly learn about new customers, markets, and business models.

• Proven track record in a fast-paced scale-up environment with limited resources, imperfect information, fluctuating markets, and minimal structure.
