Senior Director, Product Management – Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the vision for ServiceTitan's accounting platform.

• Create scalable accounting products tailored for contractors at various levels of financial maturity.

• Develop AI-enhanced accounting functionalities for CFO organizations.

• Offer thought leadership and strategic clarity regarding the accounting product strategy and roadmap.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, finance, and go-to-market teams.

• Identify opportunities for product simplification and deliver comprehensive results.

• Partner with customers to validate direction, foster trust, and convert pain points into product insights.

• Lead, expand, and advocate for a team of product managers.

• Establish standards for rigor, customer empathy, and business impact.

• Define and track metrics related to product quality, adoption, customer sentiment, and business outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of product management experience.

• Leadership experience within B2B SaaS environments.

• In-depth knowledge of the accounting domain.

• Familiarity with GL structures and AP/AR workflows.

• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Spectrum, Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms.

• Experience in construction or field services accounting is a significant advantage.

• Proven capability to manage complex cross-functional product areas.

• Experience in making architectural decisions that impact teams and integrations both upstream and downstream.

• Strong judgment regarding the application of AI in accounting workflows.

• Track record as a persuasive leader who advocates for teams and fosters stakeholder alignment.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in constructively engaging customers and building their trust.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• An MBA or graduate degree is a plus, but not mandatory.
