Senior Director, Pricing Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the evolution of Sophos's SecOps pricing function.

• Create and develop a centralized Pricing Operations function that encompasses strategy, analytics, and deal support.

• Establish and execute a pricing cadence that is aware of various segments.

• Formulate a pricing council along with a governance framework.

• Oversee AI-driven digital worker capabilities for analyzing competitor pricing, discounts, discount depths, and market alerts.

• Ensure senior leadership has early insights into competitor pricing strategies and market disruptions.

• Collaborate with the Network Security team to synchronize pricing decisions between SecOps and Network Security.

• Define and track metrics such as adherence to cadence, time from decision to communication, and discount discipline.

• Develop the target operating model and set up the new team along with its operational cadence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building or reshaping a pricing, revenue operations, or deal desk function in a B2B SaaS or technology company, preferably within cybersecurity or another subscription-based business.

• Background in leading organizational transformation, including centralizing a dispersed function and implementing new governance structures.

• Knowledge of discount governance and competitive pricing intelligence.

• Experience utilizing data and AI-assisted tools to observe competitor pricing and discounting trends.

• Strong leadership skills in managing teams.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to design pricing strategies tailored to customer segments and channels.

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
