Senior Director, Pricing Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the evolution of Sophos's SecOps pricing function.

• Create and establish a centralized Pricing Operations function that encompasses strategy, analytics, and deal support.

• Develop and implement a pricing cadence that is aware of different segments.

• Formulate a pricing council and governance model with distinct rationale, ownership, and communication pathways.

• Oversee AI-driven digital worker capabilities for competitive pricing, discount analysis, and market notifications.

• Equip senior leadership with early insights into competitor pricing strategies and market disruptions.

• Foster a collaborative relationship with the Network Security group.

• Define and track metrics relating to cadence adherence, decision-to-communication time, and discount discipline.

• Assemble the new team and establish its operational rhythm.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building or transforming a pricing, revenue operations, or deal desk function within a B2B SaaS or technology company, preferably in cybersecurity or another subscription-based business.

• Background in leading organizational change, including the centralization of a distributed function and the establishment of new governance frameworks.

• Knowledge of discount governance and competitive pricing intelligence.

• Proficient in utilizing data and AI-assisted tools to analyze competitor pricing and discount trends.

• Strong leadership experience in managing teams.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to design pricing strategies tailored by customer segment and channel.

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Authorized to work in the United Kingdom without employer sponsorship.
