Senior Director, Pricing Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the evolution of Sophos's SecOps pricing function.

• Create and establish a centralized Pricing Operations unit with distinct responsibilities for strategy, analytics, and deal support.

• Develop and execute a pricing cadence that is cognizant of various segments.

• Formulate a pricing council along with a governance framework.

• Oversee AI-driven digital worker capabilities for analyzing competitor pricing, discount evaluations, discount depth analysis, and market alerts.

• Equip senior leadership with timely insights regarding competitor pricing movements and market disruptions.

• Sustain a collaborative relationship with the Network Security division.

• Define and report on metrics such as cadence adherence, decision-to-communication duration, and discount discipline.

• Assemble the team and establish its operational rhythm.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building or transforming a pricing, revenue operations, or deal desk function at a B2B SaaS or technology firm, ideally within the cybersecurity sector or another subscription-based business.

• Demonstrated experience in leading organizational change, including the centralization of a dispersed function and the implementation of new governance structures.

• Knowledge of discount governance and competitive pricing intelligence.

• Experience utilizing data and AI-assisted tools to track competitor pricing and discounting trends.

• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build a new team.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to design pricing strategies tailored to customer segments and distribution channels.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Legal authorization to work in Canada without requiring employer sponsorship.
