📋 Description

• Oversee the Portfolio Marketing Engine, serving as a shared strategic marketing delivery function within Neurology and Rheumatology.

• Manage a flexible team of marketers who are dynamically assigned based on priority brand, launch, lifecycle, and customer requirements.

• Define the vision, operating model, standards, and methodologies for Portfolio Marketing.

• Convert enterprise and community priorities into actionable Portfolio Marketing initiatives.

• Direct demand management, prioritization, staffing, and deployment while ensuring transparency regarding capacity, capabilities, timelines, and competing business demands.

• Collaborate with senior and cross-functional leaders to establish support levels, suggest resource reallocations, and synchronize priorities.

• Maintain a balance between embedded continuity and flexible surge capacity across brands, indications, launches, and lifecycle focuses.

• Anticipate future demand, identify capability gaps, and recognize delivery risks, refining the deployment model accordingly.

• Transform strategic direction into cohesive marketing strategies, activation plans, and measurable results.

• Offer senior marketing guidance and coaching in areas such as launch activation, customer engagement, omnichannel delivery, congress strategy and execution, performance optimization, and agency leadership.

• Set standards for strategic delivery, briefing, coordination, measurement, optimization, and quality assurance.

• Utilize customer feedback, field insights, channel performance, and data to integrate test-and-learn methodologies.

• Expand reusable strategies, AI-driven workflows, automation, and cross-portfolio learning initiatives.

• Establish expectations for agency leadership and collaborate on vendor governance, procurement, contracting, and enterprise vendor processes.

• Cultivate cross-functional partnerships, clarify interfaces and decision rights, and escalate significant trade-offs.

• Exemplify collaborative, agile, and non-hierarchical work practices.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Portfolio Marketing team.

• Enhance marketing talent depth and development pathways through rotations, challenging assignments, coaching, and cross-portfolio exposure.

• Build expertise in resource allocation, data-informed decision-making, AI-driven marketing, automation, agile delivery, and agency leadership.

• Promote customer-centricity, accountability, learning, innovation, collaboration, and compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree is required.

• Approximately 15+ years of relevant marketing experience is necessary.

• Proven leadership in strategy, strategic delivery, and execution within complex, fast-paced organizations.

• Demonstrated success in prioritizing and allocating marketing resources across brands, launches, lifecycle stages, or other competing demands in a matrix environment.

• Experience in leading and nurturing teams at various seniority levels, aligning talent capabilities with evolving business needs.

• Leadership experience in launch activation, omnichannel marketing, customer engagement, performance optimization, congress execution, agency management, and integrated marketing delivery.

• Familiarity with using data, technology, AI, automation, or other contemporary marketing practices to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and performance.

• Profound understanding of modern marketing strategies and their implementation across launch, growth, activation, optimization, and lifecycle phases.

• Experience in applying marketing capabilities within complex healthcare provider and healthcare environments.

• Exceptional skills in resource prioritization and deployment.

• Ability to lead a shared or network of empowered marketing teams and dynamically allocate talent.

• Strong strategic marketing acumen.

• Proven leadership in integrated marketing delivery.

• Proficiency in AI-driven marketing, automation, agile methodologies, customer analytics, and continuous improvement.

• Capable of influencing senior stakeholders, aligning a network of empowered teams, developing talent, and navigating ambiguity and change.
