Senior Director, Platform Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Direct the product vision, roadmap, priorities, and success metrics for the Agentic Service Catalog platform.

• Convert business requirements and user insights into product improvements and new functionalities.

• Actively participate in platform development.

• Review and produce production-quality code across front-end applications, APIs, integrations, workflows, and AI-driven features.

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

• Prototype innovative concepts and transform successful ideas into production-ready functionalities.

• Identify potential AI applications to enhance user experiences and outcomes.

• Design intelligent features such as recommendations, workflow assistance, decision support, and contextual guidance.

• Establish AI transparency, approvals, explanations, and human oversight mechanisms.

• Ensure AI solutions are safe, responsible, and compliant with requirements.

• Define and monitor product metrics including adoption rates, user satisfaction, workflow completion, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.

• Enhance the platform based on data insights, customer feedback, and changing organizational requirements.

• Lead a team and report directly to the Vice President of Intelligent Automation & Data Platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading product strategy and software engineering teams.

• Full-stack development expertise with a history of building scalable platforms and APIs.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled products, automation, and contemporary cloud technologies.

• Over 8 years of leadership and management experience.

• More than 8 years of experience in developing and delivering platform-based software products.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Hands-on experience in software engineering with modern web applications, APIs, integrations, and workflow platforms.

• Proficient in front-end and back-end technologies such as React, TypeScript, Python, or similar modern tech stacks.

• Experience in designing and integrating APIs and connecting various systems.

• Knowledge of applying AI, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), automation, or intelligent workflow technologies.

• Comfortable leading engineering teams while engaging in architecture, design reviews, and hands-on development.
