Senior Director, Platform Prioritization, Delivery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of cross-functional prioritization and delivery throughout Mission Lane.

• Oversee the prioritization framework and facilitate decisions regarding initiative sequencing, capacity, and risk.

• Develop and manage a new prioritization function and framework.

• Lead and mentor four Delivery Managers who are integrated into Collections, Data & AI/Model Process, Portfolio Management, and Acquisitions.

• Keep the prioritization tracker updated as the definitive source of truth for initiatives, stages, and justifications.

• Conduct weekly prioritization meetings, Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

• Set company-wide delivery standards, frameworks, and tools.

• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Credit, Marketing, Finance, and Legal/Compliance teams.

• Identify and remove blockers while resolving cross-functional trade-offs.

• Carry out post-initiative retrospectives and implement enhancements to planning and delivery processes.

• Report directly to the SVP of Product, Platform, & Delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in establishing processes and oversight to enhance speed to impact across an organization.

• Proven ability in leading and developing a team focused on organizational effectiveness, such as Delivery Managers, Program Managers, or similar delivery roles.

• Experience in a highly regulated and technical environment.

• Capability to shape functional strategy and operate with considerable autonomy.

• Experience managing enterprise-level portfolio intake, prioritization, and execution tracking comprehensively at significant scale and complexity.

• Proficiency in aligning senior and executive stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Finance, Credit, and Legal without direct authority.

• Extensive knowledge of modern delivery methodologies.

• Experience in structuring and conducting weekly prioritization meetings, MBRs, and QBRs.

• Practical experience with contemporary portfolio and workflow tools, including Jira, Jira Align, Asana, Monday.com, or Smartsheet.

• Experience in evaluating and managing portfolio and workflow tools at an organizational level.

• Experience in hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports.

• Willingness to travel approximately 4 or more times per year for in-person collaboration.

• Preferred: Direct experience in consumer lending, credit cards, or another regulated financial services environment.

• Preferred: Experience in scaling delivery governance and team structures in a fast-growing, mid-sized organization.

• Preferred: Expertise in configuring Jira Align, Dragonboat, or Productboard.

• Preferred: Experience in creating portfolio dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.
