This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, build, and nurture a team of Partner Account Managers responsible for sourcing and managing ISV payments partnerships.
• Take ownership of the strategic roadmap for 8am’s ISV and payments partner ecosystem.
• Develop programs, incentives, and enablement initiatives to foster partner growth and success.
• Prioritize and implement new payment methods, embedded capabilities, and value-added services.
• Establish and manage team KPIs, scorecards, and operational rhythms.
• Design partner engagement models that include QBRs, escalation paths, and executive relationship-building strategies.
• Direct the commercial strategy encompassing pricing, incentives, renewals, and negotiation assistance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to launch integrations and payment capabilities.
• Assess B2B partnership decisions concerning their effects on end customers and overall customer experience.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
• Act as an executive-level contact for key ISV partners, representing 8am.
• Over 10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or partner/account management within payments, fintech, or SaaS, with considerable experience in ISV or software partner ecosystems.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience in building, managing, and developing partner account management or similar partner-facing teams.
• Extensive knowledge of acquiring/processing, payment methods, embedded payments, and ISV/software partner economics.
• Proven ability to establish multi-year partner strategies and execute daily operations effectively.
• Demonstrated success in driving partner revenue, adoption, and retention through structured account management and commercial negotiation.
• Experience in prioritizing and launching product functionalities or payment types alongside Product and Engineering teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills related to partner economics, KPIs, and data-driven prioritization.
• Proficient in leadership, coaching, and cross-functional influence.
• A customer-focused mindset.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with a strong executive presence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• Willingness to travel periodically, approximately 20%, for partner and team engagements, on-site meetings, and industry events.
• Proven experience in utilizing AI tools and technologies to enhance workflows, improve decision-making, or drive innovation.
