Senior Director, Operational Strategy – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and formulate competitive and adaptable strategies for potential oncology and oncology-related awards.

• Utilize expertise, operational capabilities, and technologies to meet client needs during pre-award processes.

• Act as the primary oncology strategist for assigned potential awards.

• Assist other oncology-focused operational strategists.

• Co-manage bid defense preparations alongside Business Development.

• Engage in client meetings with Business Development, the SVP, SSPC, and other senior operational personnel.

• Build relationships with key decision-makers at clients to foster repeat business.

• Collaborate with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory, and Safety departments.

• Support functional teams to improve client relationships and customer satisfaction.

• Participate in conferences and meetings.

• Create marketing materials such as webinars and white papers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in life sciences or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

• Extensive experience in clinical research within a Clinical Research Organization (CRO).

• Strong background in oncology.

• Proven experience at a senior level in project oversight and delivery.

• Established track record of maintaining, developing, and enhancing customer relations.

• Previous experience in an oncology strategy role is preferred.

• An advanced degree is preferred.
