Senior Director, Operational Strategy – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and coordinate innovative and adaptable strategies for potential oncology and oncology-related awards.

• Utilize expertise, operational capabilities, and technologies to meet client needs during pre-award phases.

• Act as the primary oncology strategist for designated potential awards.

• Provide support to other operational strategists focused on oncology.

• Co-manage bid defense preparations alongside the Business Development team.

• Engage in client meetings with Business Development, the Senior Vice President, SSPC, and senior operational personnel.

• Build relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations to foster repeat business.

• Collaborate with various functions including Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory, and Safety.

• Assist functional teams in enhancing client relations and improving customer satisfaction.

• Contribute to business development and marketing efforts through participation in conferences, meetings, webinars, and white papers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• Significant experience in clinical research within a Contract Research Organization (CRO).

• Strong background in oncology.

• Proven experience at a senior level in project oversight and delivery.

• Established track record of maintaining, developing, and enhancing customer relationships.

• Prior experience in an oncology strategy role is preferred.
