Senior Director, Operational Strategy – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and create competitive and adaptable strategies for prospective oncology and oncology-related awards.

• Utilize operational expertise, capabilities, and technologies to meet client requirements during pre-award phases.

• Act as the primary oncology strategist for designated potential awards and assist other oncology-focused operational strategists.

• Collaborate in bid defense preparations alongside the Business Development team.

• Engage in client meetings with Business Development, the SVP, SSPC, and other Senior Operational personnel.

• Build relationships with key decision-makers at clients to foster repeat oncology business.

• Work together with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory, and Safety teams.

• Assist functional teams to improve client relations and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Aid in business development and marketing efforts through conferences, meetings, webinars, and white papers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in life sciences or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

• Significant experience in clinical research within a CRO environment.

• Strong background in oncology.

• Proven experience at a senior level in project oversight and delivery.

• Established track record in maintaining, developing, and enhancing customer relations.

• Prior experience in an oncology strategy role is preferred.

• An advanced degree is preferred.
