Senior Director, Operational Strategy – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and create competitive and adaptable strategies for potential oncology and oncology-related awards.

• Utilize operational expertise, capabilities, and technologies to meet client requirements during pre-award processes.

• Act as the primary oncology strategist for designated potential awards.

• Provide support to other oncology-oriented operational strategists.

• Co-manage bid defense preparations alongside the Business Development team.

• Engage in client meetings with Business Development, the SVP, SSPC, and senior operational personnel.

• Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations to foster repeat oncology business.

• Collaborate with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory, and Safety teams.

• Assist functional teams in improving client relations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

• Attend conferences and meetings.

• Create marketing materials such as webinars and white papers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• Significant experience in clinical research within a Contract Research Organization (CRO).

• Strong background in oncology.

• Proven experience at a senior level overseeing projects and ensuring delivery.

• Established history of maintaining, developing, and enhancing customer relationships.

• Previous experience in an oncology strategy role is preferred.
