Senior Director, Operational Strategy – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and formulate competitive and adaptable strategies for potential oncology and oncology-related awards.

• Utilize expertise, operational capabilities, and technologies to meet client requirements during pre-award processes.

• Act as the primary oncology strategist for designated potential awards.

• Provide support to other oncology-focused operational strategists.

• Co-lead preparations for bid defenses in collaboration with Business Development.

• Engage in client meetings alongside Business Development, the SVP, SSPC, and senior operational personnel.

• Build relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations to foster repeat oncology business.

• Collaborate with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory, and Safety departments.

• Assist functional teams in improving client interactions and enhancing customer satisfaction.

• Support business development and marketing initiatives through participation in conferences, meetings, webinars, and the creation of white papers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in a life science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

• Significant experience in clinical research within a CRO, particularly with a focus on oncology.

• Proven experience at a senior level in project oversight and delivery.

• A strong track record in establishing, developing, and maintaining customer relationships.

• Previous experience in an oncology strategy role is preferred.

• An advanced degree is preferred.
