Senior Director, Operational Strategy – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Develop and coordinate competitive and adaptable strategies for prospective awards in oncology and related fields.

• Utilize expertise, operational capabilities, and technology to meet client requirements in pre-award processes.

• Act as the primary oncology strategist for designated potential awards.

• Provide support to other operational strategists focused on oncology.

• Co-manage bid defense preparations alongside the Business Development team.

• Engage in client meetings with Business Development, the Senior Vice President, SSPC, and other senior operational personnel.

• Build relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations to promote repeat business.

• Collaborate effectively with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory, and Safety teams.

• Assist functional teams in improving client relationships and enhancing customer satisfaction.

• Attend conferences and meetings to represent the organization.

• Create marketing materials such as webinars and white papers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in a life science or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.

• Significant experience in clinical research within a Contract Research Organization (CRO).

• Strong background in oncology.

• Proven experience at a senior level in project oversight and delivery.

• Established history of maintaining, developing, and enhancing customer relationships.

• Prior experience in an oncology strategy role is preferred.

• An advanced degree is preferred.
