Senior Director, Operational Strategy – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and create competitive and adaptable strategies for prospective oncology and oncology-related awards.

• Utilize operational expertise, capabilities, and technologies to meet client needs during pre-award processes.

• Act as the primary oncology strategist for designated potential awards.

• Provide support to other operational strategists focused on oncology.

• Co-manage bid defense preparations alongside the Business Development team.

• Engage in client meetings with Business Development, the SVP, SSPC, and senior operational personnel.

• Build relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations to foster repeat business.

• Collaborate with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory, and Safety departments.

• Assist functional teams in improving client relations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

• Attend conferences and meetings.

• Create marketing materials, including webinars and white papers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a life science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

• Significant experience in clinical research within a Contract Research Organization (CRO).

• Robust experience in oncology.

• Proven experience at a senior level contributing to project oversight and execution.

• Demonstrated success in maintaining, developing, and enhancing customer relations.

• Prior experience in an oncology strategy role is preferred.

• An advanced degree is preferred.
