Senior Director, Operational Strategy – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and devise competitive and adaptable strategies for prospective oncology and oncology-related awards

• Utilize expertise, operational capabilities, and technologies to meet client needs during pre-award processes

• Act as the primary oncology strategist for designated potential awards

• Assist other oncology-focused operational strategists

• Co-lead preparations for bid defenses alongside Business Development

• Engage in client meetings with Business Development, the SVP, SSPC, and senior operational personnel

• Build relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations to promote repeat oncology business

• Collaborate with Project Management, Clinical Operations, Data Management, Statistics, Regulatory, and Safety teams

• Aid functional teams in enhancing client relations and improving customer satisfaction

• Attend conferences and meetings

• Create marketing materials such as webinars and white papers

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience

• Significant experience in clinical research within a Contract Research Organization (CRO)

• Strong background in oncology

• Proven experience at a senior level in project oversight and delivery

• Established track record in maintaining, developing, and enhancing customer relationships

• Prior experience in an oncology strategy role is preferred

• An advanced degree is preferred
