
Senior Director, Operational Strategic Initiatives

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee strategic operational and technology initiatives from the planning phase through to implementation and go-live.
• Manage several simultaneous projects while ensuring adherence to timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
• Lead implementation efforts related to insurance verification, coverage discovery, fax management, call center technologies, and additional patient access solutions.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance operational workflows and boost front-end revenue cycle performance.
• Monitor and influence metrics related to denial reduction, point-of-service collections, labor efficiency, and cost-to-collect.
• Identify potential project risks and proactively devise mitigation strategies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to assigned team members, including oversight of one analyst role.
• Work in partnership with senior leaders, technology vendors, and client representatives on enterprise-wide operational excellence initiatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on front-end technology and operational transformation initiatives.
• Extensive experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, particularly in Patient Access and/or Pre-Access functions.
• Demonstrated project management experience in leading complex operational or technology implementations.
• Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across various organizational levels.
• Experience in a remote work environment while maintaining productivity and accountability.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle technology vendors like Waystar, Experian, or similar organizations is preferred.
• Knowledge of Ensemble systems, processes, and client operations is preferred.
• CRCR certification or a commitment to obtain certification post-hire is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred.
