Senior Collections Strategy Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead collection strategy initiatives from identifying opportunities to design, testing, launch, and continuous optimization.

• Establish the timing, frequency, treatment sequencing, and segmentation for email, SMS/MMS, outbound dialing, and digital self-service channels.

• Convert strategic ideas into practical business requirements and cases for the Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.

• Collaborate with Data Science, Client Management, Contact Center Operations, Product, Legal, and Compliance to implement initiatives into production.

• Track delivery, engagement, payment conversion, and rates of payment plan breaches.

• Enhance client scorecard performance and recovery results.

• Utilize AI tools for hypothesis formulation, research, and strategy development.

• Create repeatable testing frameworks.

• Interpret consumer and portfolio signals into advanced, technology-driven collection strategies.

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Business Planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in consumer finance or lending.

• At least 5 years focused on consumer debt collections and strategy development.

• In-depth knowledge of collection levers.

• Demonstrated history of enhancing recovery metrics through channel optimization and segmentation.

• Capability to articulate complex issues and construct evidence-based business cases.

• Comprehensive understanding of FDCPA, Regulation F, and TCPA.

• Experience with champion/challenger testing methodologies.

• Proficient in SQL/BI platforms, including Looker and Tableau.

• Familiarity with Jira.

• Skill in leveraging AI tools to expedite tasks.

• Reliable internet connection and a professional work setting.
