Senior Director of Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation of the MetaDefender Endpoint portfolio.

• Oversee endpoint use cases, including peripheral media protection, advanced compliance, vulnerability assessment, patch management, zero trust access, and endpoint platform capabilities.

• Manage endpoint agents on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android systems.

• Guide the free MetaDefender Endpoint community edition, enhancing adoption, collecting feedback, and transforming usage into commercial value.

• Collaborate daily with global R&D teams on architecture, prioritization, requirements, trade-offs, and timely product releases.

• Propel patch management and compliance as key growth areas, including a differentiated roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

• Establish MetaDefender Endpoint as a common architecture for various OPSWAT product lines.

• Integrate AI into product research, requirements, analysis, and delivery processes.

• Create business cases, pricing models, packaging, and technology/channel partnerships.

• Conduct market and competitive analysis while identifying customer needs.

• Collect user feedback, analyze usage data, and promote continuous product enhancement.

• Coordinate with engineering, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure high-quality releases and seamless portfolio integration.

• Set KPIs and track both commercial and community product performance.

• Communicate strategy, updates, and outcomes to internal teams, executives, customers, and partners.

• Build, mentor, and lead a multidisciplinary team of product managers, product designers, product marketing, and engineering professionals.

• Report to the Chief Product Officer (CPO).

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years in product management.

• Several years of experience in leading and developing product management teams.

• Ideally, experience in cybersecurity, endpoint, or infrastructure software sectors.

• Proven track record of managing a comprehensive endpoint portfolio, including compliance, patch management, vulnerability management, and secure/zero-trust access.

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, endpoint security best practices, data protection, threat prevention, patch and vulnerability management, and device posture/compliance.

• Comfortable collaborating closely with R&D on architecture and trade-offs.

• Experience in delivering endpoint or agent software across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.

• Experience in building or refining a shared platform utilized by multiple teams.

• An AI-first mindset with active use of AI tools in everyday tasks.

• Experience in scaling a free, community, or product-led offering is a significant advantage.

• Demonstrated capability to develop pricing, packaging, go-to-market strategies, and technology/channel partnerships.

• Proven experience managing products from concept to launch with successful adoption, revenue growth, or market penetration outcomes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and executive communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies or similar frameworks.
