
Senior Director of Payer Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Report directly to the VP of Growth, contributing to the establishment of robust payer partnerships and strategies aimed at expanding Daymark Health into new markets.
• Persuade national payers to recognize Daymark as their preferred partner in the transition to value-based care.
• Examine market trends, payer policies, and the competitive landscape to pinpoint opportunities for growth pipelines.
• Engage in proactive outreach with potential payer partners.
• Identify and forge partnerships with insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Manage a portfolio of payer relationships, acting as the primary contact for selected partners.
• Map, engage, develop, and sustain relationships with key payer contacts throughout extended sales cycles.
• Create presentation and proposal materials customized for specific plans and markets.
• Collaborate with Finance to establish plan-specific economic models.
• Partner with Provider Growth to utilize provider relationships in national payer sales.
• Oversee RFP and RFI processes for national payers.
• Manage the contracting and negotiation processes associated with value-based care.
• Facilitate operational transitions from sales to implementation between Growth and Care Delivery.
• Develop playbooks and resources for regional clinical and operational leaders.
• Provide insights to Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure offerings align with payer requirements.
• Conduct region-specific legal diligence with Clinical Operations, encompassing credentialing, licensing, and minimum capital requirements.
• 8+ years of experience in building and managing payer partnerships while driving growth within a healthcare organization.
• Experience in selling to national payers and constructing value-based care agreements across Medicare and Commercial plans.
• In-depth understanding of value-based care contracts and the elements of a strong contract.
• High proficiency in analyzing operational data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Capability to contribute to operational models and proformas.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Demonstrated success in scaling businesses within fast-paced environments and startups.
• Ability to formulate high-level strategies and manage contract redlines and implementation transitions.
• Competence in collaborating cross-functionally with Growth, Analytics, Clinical Operations, and Product teams.
• Skill in managing payer relationships from initial opportunity analysis through to contracting.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
• Up to 20% travel expected.
