This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Formulate the Market Access Payer strategic plan and vision for business opportunities in regional and national markets.
β’ Assist in the launch of palazestrant, future indications, and other therapies.
β’ Evaluate coverage, reimbursement, payer policies, formulary listings, competitive landscape, pricing, contracting strategies, and access obstacles.
β’ Inform and influence key opinion leaders within target organizations and accounts regarding outcomes and public policy issues.
β’ Create engagement strategies and tactical plans to secure payer formulary coverage and access within key accounts.
β’ Lead strategic and national account management plans for regional and national payers as well as large healthcare systems.
β’ Motivate and guide a team of national account directors.
β’ Collaborate with commercial leadership and executive management on payer and organized customer access strategies, offerings, pricing, and contracting.
β’ Recruit, train, and supervise Payer/GPO/Organized customer account professionals.
β’ Partner with Market Access, Payer Marketing, Trade and Channel Management, Patient Support Services, and Marketing on formulary placement and coverage initiatives.
β’ Utilize strategic payer and provider account relationships, including C-suite connections, to communicate product value propositions.
β’ Maintain key Olema Oncology account relationships and establish customer roadmaps, segmentation, and account plans.
β’ Enhance contracted customer pull-through and ensure contract compliance.
β’ Collaborate with field teams to identify and address access challenges.
β’ Lead payer discussions to establish long-term brand partnerships.
β’ Oversee budgets and vendors to ensure timely and fiscally responsible project execution.
β’ Develop tools and content for payers and healthcare decision-makers in collaboration with internal and external partners.
β’ Minimum of 15 years of bio/pharmaceutical experience, with a solid understanding of current US pharmaceutical payer models.
β’ At least 10 years of direct US Payer and/or Provider Account management experience (NAM, RAM, KAM).
β’ Over 5 years of people management experience.
β’ Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required, with a strong preference for Oncology.
β’ Proven track record of successful product launches in the US, preferably for Oncology drugs.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of the oncology oral therapies marketplace and experience engaging with key decision-makers within organized accounts and institutions to facilitate access with important customers.
β’ Extensive understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance requirements, patient confidentiality (HIPAA regulations), product reimbursement, and product access.
β’ Knowledge of Medicare Part A-D, Medicaid, VA/DoD, and commercial payer policies, as well as the reimbursement process, health policy, coverage, and payment.
β’ Experience collaborating with Payers and IDNs to create patient and HCP pull-through support programs.
β’ Demonstrated ability in process development for coordination with HUB, co-pay, and other patient service providers.
β’ Proven skills in business planning and payer strategy development, along with strong problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen necessary for managing complex customer interactions and contractual agreements.
β’ Excellent communication and influencing skills.
β’ Familiarity with the Commercial Brand Planning process and the ability to translate brand disease state and business drivers into payer programs.
β’ Ability to synthesize and compile data into comprehensive and functional reports.
β’ Strong leadership, teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, organizational skills, attention to detail, and written/oral communication abilities.
β’ Bachelor's Degree is required; a degree in health sciences or business/marketing is preferred.
