Director, Digital Integrations – F135 Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Lead the incorporation of AI/ML, digital twins, and advanced analytics within the F135 engine program.

• Act as the primary authority for identifying, assessing, and integrating cutting-edge digital tools, platforms, and methodologies.

• Improve program efficiency, performance, and customer satisfaction through advanced digital capabilities.

• Analyze industry digital capabilities and pinpoint opportunities for accelerating the integration of emerging technologies into the F135 program.

• Shape the digital strategy and roadmap for the program.

• Align long-term RTX digital objectives with the F135 Program’s business goals.

• Cultivate a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, agility, continuous learning, and professional development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Engineering, or a related STEM field, accompanied by 14 years of experience in software development and digital transformation roles, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position; or an advanced degree with 12 years of experience and at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Familiarity with emerging digital trends, tools, and methodologies, such as AI/ML, digital twins, advanced data analytics, and cloud computing.

• Proven experience leading the integration of advanced digital technologies within large-scale programs and complex, matrixed organizations.

• U.S. citizenship is required due to export control regulations.

• Background in the aerospace or defense sector, particularly concerning propulsion systems.

• Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and/or Model Based Enterprise (MBE) is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Agile methodologies and frameworks, with experience serving as an Agile team leader.

• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence teams and stakeholders.
