This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a strategic partner and informal COO/Chief of Staff to the CMO, influencing marketing strategy, planning, and organizational priorities.
• Oversee the marketing leadership operating cadence, which includes staff meetings, planning offsites, budget assessments, and preparations for executive/board quarterly business reviews (QBR).
• Convert company and go-to-market (GTM) strategies into a marketing operating plan complete with objectives, responsible parties, and metrics.
• Create board- and executive-level reports that link marketing investments to pipeline, revenue, and efficiency results.
• Manage the marketing technology ecosystem that facilitates lead-to-opportunity processes, including automation, scoring, routing, and attribution tools.
• Design and enhance the entire lead-to-opportunity workflow and marketing-sales transitions.
• Establish and uphold definitions for Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), scoring models, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for lead flow.
• Collaborate with IT and business systems on platform architecture, integrations, and the marketing systems roadmap.
• Supervise top-of-funnel assessment cycles, pipeline evaluations, funnel conversion analysis, and campaign performance reporting.
• Facilitate and refine the marketing QBR process for leadership and the board.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and forecasting models to provide visibility into funnel health.
• Lead a near-shore team based in Mexico focused on data governance.
• Implement data governance policies and processes to ensure the integrity of lead, account, and campaign data.
• Align data practices with the company's governance, privacy, and SOX/IPO readiness standards.
• Over 10 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations (RevOps), or GTM Strategy.
• At least 3 years in a senior leadership position working directly with a CMO or senior marketing executive.
• Proven experience acting in a COO/Chief of Staff capacity, managing strategy, planning, and reporting processes.
• Extensive hands-on experience with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Eloqua.
• Background in integrating marketing automation systems with Salesforce for lead-to-opportunity workflows.
• Specific experience with implementing AI technologies, such as AI Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) or AI-driven lead scoring methodologies.
• A solid record of building and presenting QBR and planning materials at the board or executive level.
• Experience in managing distributed or near-shore/offshore teams, particularly in data operations or governance.
• Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
• Proficient in funnel metrics, attribution modeling, and reporting on marketing-sourced/influenced pipelines.
• Experience in organizations scaling toward IPO or operating as public companies is a significant advantage.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
