This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
β’ Oversee the development and ongoing enhancement of Integrated Solutions process designs, requirements for third-party interfaces, standards for automation frameworks, and templates for proposals.
β’ Direct the proposal management team in crafting customized customer solutions, commercial proposals, and responses to RFPs.
β’ Lead project execution teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget while effectively managing scope, risks, resources, governance, quality, and customer expectations.
β’ Facilitate coordination among internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues, manage dependencies and escalations, and ensure successful project delivery.
β’ Recruit, nurture, coach, and retain talent in proposal and project management; set clear accountabilities, performance expectations, and succession plans.
β’ Formulate and implement partnership strategies with engineering firms, system integrators, and suppliers of bioprocessing hardware and technology.
β’ Oversee the post-sale project pipeline and portfolio priorities while balancing strategic priorities with resource allocation.
β’ Convert customer feedback, industry trends, and technology gaps into actionable insights for R&D and Product Management.
β’ Act as a subject-matter expert and external representative at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences.
β’ Enhance team capabilities and organizational effectiveness; guide engineering and automation initiatives; supervise complex customer project development, delivery, startup, and closure.
β’ A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Life Sciences, Operations, or a related technical field.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in the life sciences industry, with significant expertise in process engineering, GMP manufacturing, scale-up, commissioning, qualification, validation, and global project execution.
β’ A minimum of 7 years leading complex capital, bioprocessing, manufacturing, or engineered-system projects from pre-sale solution and proposal development through to delivery, commissioning, qualification, and handover to customers.
β’ Progressive leadership experience in regional operations, program management, or project execution, with responsibility for customer delivery, financial outcomes, cross-functional alignment, and organizational performance.
β’ Proven ability to establish project governance, prioritize resources, manage risks, influence decision-making, and lead through complexity and change.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in people leadership, including talent development, succession planning, team engagement, and building organizational capability across various experience levels and organizational maturity.
