This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Responsible for the performance of a portfolio of Medical Management initiatives.
β’ Execute the Health Equity Cultural Competency Program.
β’ Plan, manage, implement, and support initiatives that generate value and savings across clinical operations.
β’ Lead the rollout of new medical management programs in collaboration with specialty vendors.
β’ Assess specialty companies/vendors and establish business terms during the contracting process.
β’ Supervise and directly manage a team focused on project management, performance improvement, and clinical analytics.
β’ Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement innovative programs and initiatives.
β’ Advocate for cultural competence throughout the health plan.
β’ Design provider training programs aimed at enhancing cultural awareness and competence.
β’ Work alongside community, regional, and statewide organizations to elevate culturally competent programs and services.
β’ Evaluate the cultural diversity of the provider network, identify available resources and gaps, and formulate recommendations for credentialing and network development.
β’ Monitor and assess provider practices through KPIs within health equity dashboards.
β’ Implement training, media awareness, and community support activities tailored to specific populations.
β’ Identify trends in populations, health disparities, care gaps, and propose interventions.
β’ Develop outreach, community activities, and innovative programming to engage populations in available services.
β’ Create and execute a comprehensive, outcomes-focused Cultural Competency Plan that aligns with CLAS standards and national and regional priorities.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
β’ Candidate must reside in California.
β’ Bachelor's Degree is required.
β’ Master's Degree is preferred.
β’ Over 10 years of relevant experience.
β’ At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
β’ Familiarity with medical management initiatives and clinical operations.
β’ Experience in care management, utilization management, outreach programs, and both physical and behavioral health services.
β’ Proficient in evaluating specialty companies/vendors and defining business terms during contracting.
β’ Proven track record in leading vendor implementation of medical management programs.
β’ Experience with project management, performance improvement, and clinical analytics.
β’ Knowledgeable in cultural competence, culturally inclusive best practices, and provider training.
β’ Experience in developing Cultural Competency Plans in alignment with CLAS standards.
β’ Familiarity with health equity dashboards and KPI monitoring.
β’ Experience in identifying population health disparities and creating interventions.
β’ Proven ability to collaborate with community, regional, statewide, internal, and external stakeholders.
