This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +9 more states.
β’ Maintain expertise in therapeutic areas and scientific knowledge that aligns with the objectives of Medical Affairs.
β’ Engage in compliant, non-promotional scientific discussions with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, and other healthcare professionals.
β’ Serve as a reliable scientific resource by providing accurate and balanced medical information.
β’ Deliver company-approved medical and scientific presentations to formulary committees and healthcare professionals.
β’ Assist with speaker training, advisory boards, and sales training initiatives.
β’ Accurately document field-based activities in a timely and compliant manner.
β’ Collaborate with Clinical Operations in identifying and evaluating clinical trial sites and investigators.
β’ Provide scientific education and protocol-specific training during site initiation visits.
β’ Maintain ongoing engagement with trial sites and investigators to facilitate trial execution, address protocol-related inquiries, and ensure high-quality data generation.
β’ Attend scientific and medical congresses to provide insights and post-conference reports.
β’ Support congress activities, which include pre-conference planning, booth coverage, participation in symposia, and engagement with KOLs.
β’ Contribute to the creation of scientific slide decks, FAQs, and educational materials.
β’ Write and edit response letters for Medical Information.
β’ Ensure all materials are medically accurate, evidence-based, and compliant with regulatory standards.
β’ Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Legal teams to develop scientific content.
β’ Lead strategic initiatives and projects for the MSL team.
β’ Develop and implement scientific training programs for the MSL team.
β’ Mentor fellow MSL peers.
β’ An advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in life sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in a Medical Affairs or MSL role within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
β’ Strong preference for candidates with an excellent understanding of sleep medicine and related therapeutic areas.
β’ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt scientific messages for diverse audiences and interpret complex scientific data.
β’ Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain robust relationships with KOLs, investigators, and internal stakeholders.
β’ Solid understanding of clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, and the therapeutic area landscape.
β’ Proficient in developing and delivering scientific presentations in various environments.
β’ Strong comprehension of industry regulations and guidelines governing medical interactions.
β’ Capability to align field activities with broader medical and corporate strategies.
β’ Valid driver's license with a driving record that satisfies company requirements.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the North Central territory, including states like Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
β’ Must reside in the Chicago metropolitan area or in another major metropolitan area within the North Central territory with convenient access to a major commercial airport.
β’ Expectation of up to 60β70% travel and occasional weekend commitments.
