πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as a field-based scientific authority, engaging with healthcare professionals and facilitating clinical development.

β€’ Uphold expertise in therapeutic areas and scientific knowledge that aligns with Medical Affairs goals.

β€’ Participate in compliant, non-promotional scientific discussions with KOLs, investigators, and other healthcare professionals.

β€’ Deliver accurate and balanced medical information to external stakeholders.

β€’ Present company-approved medical and scientific content to formulary committees and healthcare professionals.

β€’ Assist in speaker training, advisory boards, and sales training when appropriate.

β€’ Record field-based activities accurately, promptly, and in compliance with regulations.

β€’ Collaborate with Clinical Operations to identify and assess clinical trial sites and investigators.

β€’ Provide scientific education and protocol-specific training during site initiation visits.

β€’ Maintain engagement with trial sites and investigators to aid trial execution, address protocol inquiries, and ensure high-quality data generation.

β€’ Attend scientific and medical conferences, offering real-time insights and post-conference summaries.

β€’ Support conference activities through pre-conference planning, booth coverage, participation in symposia, and engagement with KOLs.

β€’ Contribute to the creation of scientific slide decks, FAQs, and educational resources.

β€’ Draft and revise Medical Information response letters.

β€’ Ensure that scientific materials are medically accurate, evidence-based, and comply with regulatory standards.

β€’ Work in collaboration with Medical Affairs and Legal teams on scientific content.

β€’ Lead strategic initiatives and projects for MSL.

β€’ Create scientific training programs for the MSL team.

β€’ Mentor MSL colleagues.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in life sciences or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

β€’ At least 2 years of experience in a Medical Affairs or MSL capacity within the pharmaceutical or biotech sector.

β€’ Strong preference for a deep understanding of sleep medicine and related therapeutic areas.

β€’ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to customize scientific messages for varied audiences and effectively interpret and convey complex scientific information.

β€’ Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture strong relationships with KOLs, investigators, and internal stakeholders.

β€’ In-depth understanding of clinical trial design, regulatory requirements, and the therapeutic area landscape.

β€’ Proficient in crafting and delivering scientific presentations across different settings.

β€’ Strong knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines that govern medical interactions.

β€’ Capability to align field activities with broader medical and corporate strategies.

β€’ Must possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record that satisfies company standards.

β€’ Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout the Southeast region, including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

β€’ Must reside in the Atlanta metropolitan area or a major Florida metropolitan area with access to a major commercial airport.

β€’ Remote position based in the United States with up to 60–70% travel and occasional weekends required.
