This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the primary expert on grants for executive, operational, clinical, and finance leadership.
β’ Manage a national grant pipeline and calendar for all states in which the organization operates or plans to operate.
β’ Seek funding opportunities from federal, state, county, municipal, corporate, and foundation sources.
β’ Direct the development of grant applications, including narratives, logic models, staffing plans, evaluation plans, and budget narratives.
β’ Oversee, train, and mentor grant-writing personnel across various states.
β’ Formulate grant strategies to support market entry, new locations, new service lines, and increased access.
β’ Assess opportunities based on their growth impact, resource needs, match obligations, and likelihood of success.
β’ Report on portfolio performance metrics, including awarded funds, managed dollars, win rates, program outcomes, and access created.
β’ Ensure that active awards comply with regulations, are reported on time, and are ready for audits.
β’ Collaborate with Finance to monitor expenditure and address any questions regarding under-utilization or allowable costs.
β’ Handle close-outs, no-cost extensions, carryover requests, renewals, and competitive re-applications.
β’ Provide training to operational and business development teams on grant-related functions.
β’ Support the Vice President of Growth in overseeing business development teams, field priorities, territory coverage, and performance expectations.
β’ Utilize conversion data, admission yields, payer mixes, and level-of-care fits to guide field operations.
β’ Monitor activity, productivity, and return on investment using Salesforce and maintain reporting dashboards.
β’ Conduct ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and market-specific training.
β’ Cultivate future leaders within the team.
β’ Drive marketing and outreach initiatives required by grants through the Marketing and Communications department.
β’ Bachelorβs degree.
β’ Seven or more years of progressive experience in grant development and administration, including oversight of awards from compliance to close-out.
β’ At least three years of leadership experience managing staff or teams.
β’ Practical knowledge of federal and state grant administration, allowable costs, match requirements, and audit standards.
β’ Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce.
β’ Capacity to make data-driven decisions rather than relying on anecdotes.
β’ Excellent writing, financial, and analytical abilities.
β’ Proficient in representing the organization before funders and senior external stakeholders.
β’ Valid driver's license.
β’ Capability to travel independently by car and air.
