This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead the comprehensive execution and delivery of direct mail and email acquisition initiatives.
• Take ownership of performance metrics including leads, conversion rates, revenue, and cost efficiency.
• Convert business goals into actionable campaign plans and priorities.
• Develop and oversee targeting, segmentation, and contact strategies.
• Create and implement test-and-learn strategies across audience segments, offers, and creative approaches.
• Evaluate performance data to derive insights and drive optimization efforts.
• Manage campaign schedules, interdependencies, and cross-functional execution.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Analytics, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Supervise external agencies and vendors.
• Take charge of budget tracking, forecasting, and maintaining spending discipline.
• Identify potential risks, eliminate obstacles, and ensure consistent program delivery.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering accountability and performance standards.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 7 years of pertinent experience in acquisition marketing, direct response, performance marketing, or similar fields.
• Strong understanding of direct mail and/or email marketing within an acquisition framework.
• Highly analytical with a comfort in working with performance data to inform decision-making.
• Proven capability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to execution discipline.
• Comfortable challenging assumptions and pushing back when necessary.
• Clear and straightforward communicator, able to articulate performance and next steps in easily understandable terms.
• Demonstrates a strong ownership mindset.
• Preferred location in the Central or Eastern US time zone, or willingness to work during Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
• This position does not qualify for visa sponsorship.
• All work must be conducted within the United States.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree.
• Preferred: 10 years of relevant work experience, including 7+ years in direct response, product marketing, or related fields.
• Preferred: Experience managing a large customer acquisition program in areas such as retail, travel, insurance, financial services, or similar data-driven, regulated industries.
