
Senior Director, Go-To-Market Strategy – Commercialization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Take ownership of and continuously refine the enterprise commercialization strategy, which includes operational rhythms, decision-making forums, and escalation processes.
• Set up and lead regular meetings to coordinate product, service, technology, marketing, customer experience, and operations for launch preparedness.
• Act as the sole point of accountability for orchestrating go-to-market initiatives.
• Create, update, and share a cohesive 18-month commercialization calendar that encompasses product, service, and technology launches.
• Direct seasonal planning efforts with cross-functional stakeholders to synchronize priorities, milestones, resources, and execution.
• Oversee sequencing, dependencies, capacity considerations, market speed, operational readiness, and customer experience.
• Function as the executive escalation owner for high-risk or intricate initiatives.
• Alleviate timeline, cost, and customer experience challenges while advising on trade-offs with Finance and departmental leaders.
• Implement strategies to address financial shortfalls arising from launch delays, scope changes, or readiness challenges.
• Identify revenue opportunities, phased launches, cost-saving measures, and experience modifications.
• Design and uphold the customer experience commercialization playbook across retail, ecommerce, partnerships, and wholesale channels.
• Facilitate cross-functional integration among Product, Marketing, Retail, Ecommerce, Technology, Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience teams.
• Simplify complex concepts for senior leaders and ensure team alignment on successful launch results.
• Build, lead, and nurture a high-performing commercialization team.
• Define roles, establish expectations, and create development pathways while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Execute additional reasonable tasks as requested by management.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in commercialization, go-to-market strategies, operations, leadership roles, or related areas.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing go-to-market launches, seasonal campaigns, and significant business initiatives in a dynamic retail environment.
• Strong preference for experience in both retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors.
• Experience in a founder-led, high-growth setting is preferred.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional launches in consumer-facing businesses.
• Established capability in managing financial risk, addressing launch-related discrepancies, and achieving revenue objectives.
• In-depth understanding of omnichannel customer experiences, incorporating physical retail, ecommerce, and third-party partnerships.
• Excellent communication, storytelling for executives, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with fluctuating priorities.

• Must be able to travel via various modes of transportation for mandatory meetings and conferences at office or off-site locations.
• Ability to travel up to 30% for launch readiness evaluations, leadership meetings, and important company events.

• Must reside in the United States throughout the duration of employment.
