This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Drive revenue for professional services within designated focus areas.
• Sell professional services to both new and existing enterprise clients in the insurance sector.
• Take ownership of professional services revenue targets and strive to meet or surpass them.
• Support and mentor members of the services sales team through coaching, deal strategies, and sharing best practices.
• Effectively position current service offerings in the Property & Casualty (P&C) market and provide customer insights to shape the service portfolio.
• Collaborate with software sales account teams to integrate services into deals at an early stage and ensure alignment with account strategy.
• Work alongside Tier 1 System Integrator (SI) alliance partners to discover co-selling opportunities and expand the partner-influenced pipeline.
• Generate and expand the pipeline through defined offerings, customer-facing teams, partner channels, and expansion within existing customers.
• Partner with delivery teams to confirm that deals are accurately scoped, properly priced, and positioned for successful execution.
• Collaborate with sales operations on reporting and forecasting related to services bookings and revenue.
• Manage strategic pursuits from initial engagement to closing.
• Contribute customer and partner insights to go-to-market strategies.
• Refine sales strategies, proposal templates, and enablement resources for consistent services selling.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 12 years of progressive experience in P&C insurance enterprise services sales, architecture, solution design, or technical leadership roles.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading and managing technical teams.
• Proven experience in designing and governing large-scale, enterprise-level, cloud-based software solutions.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline is preferred.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services software domain is preferred.
• Experience within a global insurance software sales organization is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of selling methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Extensive expertise in insurance P&C enterprise solution architecture and distributed systems design.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, SaaS platforms, and integration technologies.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop senior technical professionals.
• Strategic thinker with the capability to translate business objectives into architectural guidance.
• Strong governance mindset balanced with practical delivery focus.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to influence across functions and geographies without direct authority.
• Sound judgment in evaluating architectural trade-offs, risks, and impacts.
• Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to cross-functional partnerships.
