This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee product marketing for PAX’s device and consumables portfolios.
• Identify product audiences, consumer needs, value propositions, and the roles within the portfolio.
• Transform consumer insights, category trends, and business data into recommendations for the product roadmap and business cases.
• Develop strategies for portfolio architecture, pricing, and lifecycle management.
• Take ownership of the go-to-market strategy for new products, line extensions, relaunches, and significant portfolio initiatives.
• Specify launch audiences, positioning, channel strategy, commercial requirements, and metrics for success.
• Generate insight-driven briefs that align Product, Creative, Brand, E-commerce, Sales, Trade Marketing, Communications, Operations, and Finance.
• Adjust launch plans for e-commerce, domestic and international wholesale, and licensed dispensaries.
• Provide sales teams and channel partners with compelling product narratives, training, and tools.
• Oversee the ongoing commercial health of products, lifecycle strategies, and profitability.
• Monitor revenue, distribution, velocity, conversion rates, consumer feedback, and profitability.
• Identify lifecycle opportunities including pricing, promotions, bundles, refreshes, market expansion, repositioning, and end-of-life strategies.
• Lead business reviews both post-launch and on an ongoing basis.
• Establish repeatable processes for product launches and lifecycle management.
• 8–12+ years of experience in product marketing, portfolio strategy, or commercialization.
• Proven track record in managing complex product launches across various channels, markets, or business models.
• Extensive experience with consumer insight, segmentation, positioning, messaging, consumer-facing product copy, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
• Ability to convert consumer needs and technical product details into distinct, commercially viable narratives.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Sales, Creative, Operations, and Finance teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical judgment.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to influence leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Capability to provide structure, clarity, and drive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Hands-on approach and readiness to work at both strategic and executional levels.
• Background in consumer tech, CPG, wellness, cannabis, or another regulated sector.
• Familiarity with wholesale, retail, DTC, and/or dispensary channels.
• Genuine passion for cannabis consumers and a commitment to shaping the future of the category.
