
Senior Director, Global Account Management – Emerging Biopharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.
• Take ownership of the sales strategy and execution for designated Emerging Biopharma accounts.
• Identify, qualify, and advance global sales prospects.
• Develop strategic partnership frameworks utilizing IQVIA's commercial, data, technology, analytics, and commercialization solutions.
• Cultivate executive-level customer relationships and create stakeholder maps.
• Activate global IQVIA teams to devise solutions and transform opportunities into partnerships.
• Collaborate with delivery, data, technology, and commercial teams to ensure alignment of solutions with customer priorities.
• Guarantee that proposed solutions are executable, distinct, and consistent with delivery commitments.
• Lead discussions on portfolio-level risks that impact customer confidence, opportunity advancement, renewals, or expansions.
• Monitor delivery performance and customer feedback to uncover renewal and expansion prospects.
• Drive pipeline development, opportunity evaluations, late-stage funnel activities, forecasting, and deal progression.
• Assume responsibility for annual sales, revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
• Utilize commercial and financial insight for pricing, margin management, investment decisions, account planning, and negotiation strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Global Business Operations, delivery leadership, and local account teams to eliminate obstacles and secure strategic opportunities.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in key account management, strategic sales, consulting, or commercial leadership within the life sciences sector.
• Preferably experienced with Emerging Biopharma companies, global markets, and IQVIA offerings.
• Demonstrated ability to sell complex, multi-service solutions and foster strategic customer partnerships.
• Strong comprehension of emerging biopharma business models, developmental priorities, funding dynamics, commercialization pathways, and operational challenges.
• Proven track record in selling, pipeline development, opportunity advancement, solution negotiation, and achieving revenue growth.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and consultative selling skills.
• Strong matrix leadership capabilities.
• Solid financial acumen, encompassing pricing, margin management, forecasting, revenue planning, and strategic decision-making.
• Ability to design and implement customer plans that convert market opportunities into quantifiable sales and partnership results.
• Must reside in the country where this position is advertised to qualify for this remote role.
