This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead engagement with the early-stage drug discovery sector, encompassing startups, established biopharmaceutical companies, mid-cap pharmaceutical firms, venture capitalists, and emerging model developers.
• Act as the primary point of contact for TuneLab user activation, feedback collection, and early-stage collaborations.
• Develop strategies aimed at expanding TuneLab's reach and fostering growth.
• Create and implement plans to identify, attract, and engage biotech users and contributors.
• Establish seamless onboarding processes, including self-service tools, community forums, and scalable support systems.
• Design and execute user activation initiatives such as training sessions, demo events, and collaborative working groups.
• Develop repeatable collaboration frameworks for biotech startups, academic institutions, and mission-driven organizations.
• Work closely with product and technology teams to ensure that contribution processes are technically viable and supported.
• Act as the initial point of contact for incoming inquiries from biotechs, laboratories, and researchers.
• Assess and prioritize leads based on the platform’s strategic goals and scientific alignment.
• Collaborate with legal, product, and technical teams to formalize partnerships and facilitate execution.
• Support TuneLab partners to guarantee successful technical outcomes.
• Create partner case studies and champions that showcase TuneLab’s influence on biotech firms.
• Identify product enhancement opportunities through partner discussions and relay these insights to the Product team.
• Represent the platform at scientific conferences, AI/ML community gatherings, and academic events.
• Enhance visibility through storytelling, case studies, and public programming initiatives.
• Foster a sense of identity and shared purpose among participants in the ecosystem.
• A graduate degree (PhD) in biology, chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in drug discovery and/or development.
• At least 4 years of experience in business development, scientific partnerships, or ecosystem growth.
• Familiarity with drug discovery processes in the life sciences and experience using diverse models and tools to expedite research.
• Background in forming partnerships with academic institutions, biotech startups, or philanthropic organizations.
• Insight into contributor motivations, open innovation frameworks, and strategies for community engagement.
• Proven ability to build relationships across scientific, academic, and venture ecosystems.
• Capability to translate scientific and technical value into collaborative opportunities.
• Strong public speaking skills and enthusiasm for platform promotion.
• Ability to work independently and implement both strategic and tactical plans.
• Willingness to travel: 30% of the time.
• Regular attendance at major industry events, participating in 6–10 conferences annually.
