Senior Director, Donor Recruitment, Field Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead strategic turnaround and growth initiatives in emerging, underperforming, and high-potential donor recruitment markets.

• Perform in-market evaluations to uncover operational challenges, process improvement opportunities, and market growth potential.

• Formulate and implement performance enhancement plans that align with donor growth and collection objectives.

• Collaborate with Executive Directors, Donor Recruitment leaders, and regional management.

• Mentor and develop Donor Recruitment Managers and field leaders.

• Identify training needs and execute leadership development initiatives.

• Assist in retaining sponsor relationships, re-engaging lapsed accounts, and fostering new business opportunities.

• Evaluate market trends, donor recruitment performance, and operational metrics.

• Direct short-term interventions and long-term strategic projects.

• Advocate for donor recruitment best practices, forecasting techniques, territory planning, and operational benchmarks.

• Partner with Marketing, Donor Care, Planning & Scheduling, Operations, and other internal stakeholders.

• Provide guidance to regional leadership on strategic planning, change management, and performance enhancement.

• Engage in enterprise-wide projects, councils, and initiatives.

• Travel nationally up to 50% for hands-on support, consultation, and leadership development.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a related combination of education and experience is required.

• A minimum of eight years of relevant experience is required.

• At least five years of supervisory experience.

• Experience in a Blood Bank setting is preferred.

• Strong analytical, statistical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to organize, prioritize, and manage a diverse workload and multiple priorities.

• Proficient oral and written business communication skills.

• Emphasis on a participative management approach.

• Excellent team development and coaching capabilities.

• Ability to lead and inspire senior and executive-level managers.

• Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage actively as a member of management.

• Strong computer skills.

• Willingness to travel 25%–50%.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
