This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the strategy for Operations analytics and create, as well as, manage a high-performing analytics team.
• Oversee forecasting, optimization, decision-support, and predictive modeling projects.
• Conduct analyses that pinpoint effective operational models, cost-saving opportunities, and process enhancements.
• Direct the development of models that assess the impact of policy changes.
• Align Operations analytics with College Board’s strategic vision and the wider data ecosystem.
• Set the technical direction for contemporary analytic methods, including AI-assisted coding and statistical modeling.
• Define methodologies, quality standards, and technical priorities for analytics deliverables.
• Share strategic analytics insights with senior leadership to enhance operational decision-making.
• Integrate analytics into Product, Program, and Technology objectives.
• Collaborate with Finance and Program teams on budget assumptions, goals, cost drivers, and variance monitoring.
• Recruit, onboard, lead, mentor, and develop the analytics team.
• Foster future capabilities in modeling, AI, and data infrastructure.
• Promote a culture of inclusivity and high achievement that aligns with College Board’s mission and Operating Principles.
• 8–10+ years of combined education and experience, encompassing practical data analysis and overseeing analytics initiatives in a professional environment.
• A Master’s degree in a quantitative or equivalent discipline (mandatory).
• Advanced skills in data analytics involving forecasting, statistical analysis, and cost evaluation.
• Strong preference for experience in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, optimization, forecasting, cost evaluation, or decision support.
• Demonstrated history of driving operational excellence and achieving measurable outcomes.
• Experience in leading a team and influencing analytic decisions at the senior leadership level.
• Strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and planning capabilities.
• Background in applying analytics to operational, customer experience, or process-improvement challenges within government, education, technology, or service-oriented sectors.
• Willingness to travel 4–6 times a year to College Board offices or for College Board business.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• A curious and enthusiastic attitude towards emerging technologies, openness to adopting AI-driven solutions, and the capacity to learn new digital tools independently.
