Senior Director, Clinical Services – IKC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Act as the clinical leader for quality, education, and nursing services within Integrated Kidney Care.

• Execute programs aimed at enhancing patient quality outcomes.

• Offer training, education, project management, and assistance to clinical team members.

• Oversee the division’s clinical services team.

• Supervise clinical services staff, including recruitment, promotions, disciplinary actions, professional growth, and separations.

• Engage in divisional Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.

• Track the implementation and provide reports on company initiatives.

• Identify and amend clinical policies and procedures as necessary.

• Gather and report relevant data.

• Monitor and report the AOR investigation process.

• Ensure the completion of DaVita Prep and clinical training programs.

• Determine training needs and execute action plans accordingly.

• Lead the rollout of national education materials and their updates.

• Establish ongoing education and professional development programs.

• Facilitate hospital-level education support.

• Ensure adherence to DaVita policies, legal standards, regulations, and nursing practice guidelines.

• Oversee audits and assist in formulating corrective action plans.

• Mentor and provide performance feedback to the clinical team.

• Support the development of clinical preceptors.

• Participate in divisional operational and strategic planning meetings.

• Deliver operational review reports and analyses.

• Allocate resources based on divisional priorities.

• Foster a collaborative and cohesive team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.

• Licensure in the state of residence is mandatory.

• A minimum of 7 years of dialysis experience is preferred.

• At least 5 years in a leadership position with direct supervisory responsibilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to manage and mentor individuals effectively.

• Capability to leverage resources to achieve key performance metrics.

• Demonstrated skills in team building and coaching/mentoring.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.

• Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and collaboratively resolving workplace challenges.

• In-depth knowledge of facility operations and the roles of direct caregivers.

• Ability to devise innovative solutions for adult learning, education, and ongoing training.

• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

• Excellent reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
