Senior Director, Healthcare Tech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +40 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead large-scale MEDITECH implementations, migrations, upgrades, and optimization projects.

• Manage scope, budget, timelines, quality, and client outcomes effectively.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with both executive and operational stakeholders.

• Offer strategic direction on MEDITECH, healthcare technology transformation, governance, and organizational preparedness.

• Direct program planning, governance, risk management, staffing, and execution across various workstreams.

• Provide expert knowledge on MEDITECH applications, workflows, system integration, implementation methodologies, and operational best practices.

• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams.

• Collaborate with client leadership to identify challenges, formulate solutions, and promote the adoption of technology-enhanced improvements.

• Engage in sales pursuits, solution development, recruiting, thought leadership, and initiatives aimed at building internal capabilities.

• Spot new opportunities, strengthen client partnerships, and act as a trusted advisor for Huron.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare technology consulting, program leadership, or healthcare IT.

• At least 5 years of experience with MEDITECH, providing consulting services in hospitals and healthcare systems.

• Proven track record of successfully leading enterprise MEDITECH implementations, Expanse migrations, optimization projects, or large-scale healthcare technology transformations.

• Experience in managing complex, multi-workstream programs and building relationships with executive and C-suite stakeholders.

• Strong familiarity with healthcare operations, clinical workflows, revenue cycle processes, and healthcare technology ecosystems.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and facilitate organizational change.

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Valid U.S. work authorization is required.

• Willingness to travel 75% to client locations.
