This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee the sales and account management processes for Clinical Insight Services.
β’ Build and nurture client relationships with designated pharmaceutical and biotech partner accounts.
β’ Identify opportunities, qualify leads, create proposals, and negotiate contracts.
β’ Prepare presentations and proposals aimed at new business development.
β’ Draft lead proposals, manage contracting, present to clients, and outline pricing options.
β’ Convey client needs and expectations throughout the organization to enhance Clinical Insight Solutions.
β’ Organize meeting agendas and presentation materials for client interactions.
β’ Represent client interests and ensure the integrity, reliability, and credibility of program deliverables and analytic capabilities.
β’ Analyze market and customer dynamics to formulate growth strategies.
β’ Collaborate with Clinical Insights, Commercial Analytics Sales, Client Service, Data Science, and GPO Corporate Accounts teams.
β’ Broaden contact bases through business development and cold calling efforts.
β’ Ensure adherence to the PhRMA code, FDA regulations, and corporate ethical standards.
β’ Coordinate with other Cencora business unit sales leaders to facilitate cross-selling across customer organizations.
β’ Document sales opportunities and account interactions thoroughly.
β’ Provide reports on sales pipeline status, timelines, and project execution.
β’ Present capabilities overviews and tailored solution recommendations to customer functional areas.
β’ Travel to and engage in industry conferences, client meetings, GPO membership gatherings, and internal meetings.
β’ Bachelor's degree required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
β’ 7β10 years of progressively responsible sales experience is necessary.
β’ Professional consultative sales experience in market research, medical affairs services, and/or analytics/data solutions targeting pharmaceutical and biotech industry partners.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales processes and independently negotiate contracts.
β’ Strong understanding of the clinical oncology therapeutic market.
β’ In-depth knowledge of oncology marketplace dynamics and pharmaceutical drug development, as well as medical affairs provider research and education trends.
β’ Familiarity with market access, market research, medical affairs, and HEOR/RWE within biopharmaceutical companies.
β’ Proficient in strategic and consultative marketing techniques.
β’ Strong business planning, analytical, and conceptual skills.
β’ Ability to create customized solutions and approach problems creatively.
β’ Capability to guide matrix team activities, including co-selling, coaching, training, mentoring, and managing.
β’ Ability to interpret industry trends and competitive market data.
β’ Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
β’ Excellent presentation abilities for both large and small groups, in-person and online.
β’ Strong oral and written communication skills, along with active listening abilities.
β’ Proficient in company systems and programs, including PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word, and Salesforce CRM.
β’ Willingness to travel domestically up to 40%, including occasional weekends.
