This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Meet individual revenue and sales goals for Worldwide Clinical Trials' late phase services.
• Establish connections between Worldwide Clinical Trials and a well-established network of biotechnology and pharmaceutical professionals.
• Identify new opportunities for potential Phase II-IV business.
• Create and execute strategies for territory and key account growth and retention.
• Assist in the development of project proposals, liaise with clients and internal project teams, and support the review of study budgets.
• Organize and participate in trade shows, including managing exhibition logistics, meetings, and hospitality suites.
• Conduct teleconferences, client meetings, capabilities discussions, and bid defense meetings.
• Provide insights regarding competitors, services, acquisitions, and pricing.
• Maintain the Sales Force Automation Client Contact and Mailing Database (CRM) on a daily basis.
• Submit bi-weekly sales reports.
• Engage senior management in presentations related to strategic accounts and major opportunities.
• Coordinate interactions between sponsors and the Worldwide Clinical Trials team members.
• Develop solutions and approaches to problem-solving.
• Travel within the assigned territory and nationally or internationally as required.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
• Potentially mentor and/or oversee members of the Business Development team.
• Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business or Life Sciences.
• A minimum of ten (10) years of sales experience within the Contract Research Organization (CRO) sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of sales techniques and practices.
• Knowledge of the drug development process, ideally acquired within a Contract Research Organization (CRO).
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and sales management software.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently under pressure without supervision.
• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills; capable of prioritizing, delegating, and assessing work effectively.
