Business Development Manager – K-12 Furniture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Develop and sustain a network of dealers, including current partners.

β€’ Foster relationships with local architects and interior designers.

β€’ Build and manage an end-user client network and K-12 furniture sales project portfolio.

β€’ Generate sales quotes and freight estimates within the company system.

β€’ Engage in face-to-face, needs-based consultative selling utilizing MooreCo, Inc. products and solutions.

β€’ Increase revenue within the designated geographic territory, concentrating on target accounts.

β€’ Evaluate competitor strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to facilitate balanced growth across product categories.

β€’ Forge multi-level relationships with both existing and prospective customers to promote, market, and sell MooreCo, Inc. brands.

β€’ Manage the complete customer relationship experience, including customer solutions, problem resolution, and follow-up.

β€’ Emphasize customer satisfaction by understanding fulfillment processes and programs.

β€’ Continuously enhance skills and product knowledge.

β€’ Identify new leads by analyzing market conditions and trends.

β€’ Provide weekly communication and reports to the Director of Educational and Industrial Sales Manager regarding territory and account strategies and information.

β€’ Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Must possess relevant sales experience in the K-12 furniture sector.

β€’ Strong grasp of sales principles.

β€’ Familiarity with BRM and CRM methodologies.

β€’ Capability to cultivate productive professional business relationships.

β€’ Highly motivated and results-driven with a proven history of meeting sales targets.

β€’ Exceptional selling, communication, and negotiation abilities.

β€’ Skills in prioritization, organization, and time management through relationship management and receptiveness to feedback.

β€’ A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.

β€’ Ability to regularly lift and/or transport up to 20 lbs. without assistance.

β€’ Proficiency in using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.

β€’ Capability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer while performing repetitive tasks.

β€’ Ability to hear sounds and distinguish between them.

β€’ Ability to visually perceive distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjust focus, and have color vision.
